Hello everyone

We have finished the main body of the work on site now and are shutting down all work from today Friday 22.12 til the new year. When we return in the new year we have only a little snagging work to do which should not be too noticeable and I will update you on our progress and end plans. We would like to thank you all for your patience and co-operation on this project and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year

Hello everyone

unfortunately due to the rain this morning we have had to postpone the work today that would have enabled us to move the tanks from the green. We will reschedule this work and update you all when we have a new timescale. Hope this hasnt caused anyone a problem

Update by Brian Hall

Hello everyone

I visited site today and spoke with a few of the residents, for those of you who I didnt manage to contact I have a brief update; the two large temporary tanks on the grassed area next to the cadet hall will be moved off on Wednesday, unless something goes wrong in the mean time. We will have some tankers on site Tuesday and Wednesday and should be clear by Friday. After that things should quieten down with electrical work finishing on the site only. We will reseed and tidy up the grassed area once we are off but fencing may stay in place for a while.

I will be back up to site next week, if you need any information just give me a shout, once again thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation while work has been carried out.

Hope you all have a great weekend, looking forward to the cycle race coming through Morpeth next week

Hello everyone

busy day today, I hope the tankers in the street didnt cause too many problems. We have finished now for the weekend but will be back on Monday 17th with quite a bit off work. Following some constructive feed back from residents we will be keeping 2 tankers back out of the street and only one at a time at the works to minimize traffic issues. Thank you all for bearing with us. I will be in the street tomorrow and would welcome any comments or issues you may have

Good morning everyone

I hope you were not too disturbed by our activity last night? We finally were able to do our night work and had four tankers running til about 11pm, then worked on site til around 1am. We really tried to minimise the noise but those tankers are loud, sorry. The good news is that we dont think we will have to do anymore work at night here, thank you all so much for bearing with us on this. I will be on site this week and will try and call on as many of you as I can to get your feedback, meantime please contact me if you have any points you wish to raise. Speak soon

Forecast for 6mm of rain today with localised flooding in the area, so we have cancelled nightshift tonight. Looks like rain for rest of the week as well so we have rescheduled the nightshift til next Tuesday and that is dependent on what the weather does between then and now. Love British summers

Good evening everyone,

As predicted we wont be able to do the night work this week. By the time the water had subsided we had no availability for the tankers

We will be back next week with an aim to do the work on Tuesday evening, hopefully rain will stay off. I will keep you updated and will be around to speak to people

Apparently a couple of snakes have been found in the street in the past few days, a dead one in a back garden and a live one climbing a house wall. The council have been out to collect them, initial thoughts are they are Corn Snakes; harmless to humans but deadly to rats. If you see one I would call the council or the RSPCA. Heres a picture below; I hope no ones squeamish. Hope you all have a happy, dry, snake free weekend

'it never rains, but it pours....'

well it did this morning, and apparently will tonight as well. The pumping work we were going to do this evening will have to be postponed as its just too wet. Tomorrow looks hopeful and there is no rain forecast so hopefully by then it will be ok. So cancel tonights works and we will try again tomorrow evening; again 6pm til around 11pm all clear if all goes to plan by midnight. Sorry to mess you all around but this is beyond our control. Hope its not a problem, call me if it is I will be around Morpeth most of tomorrow

thanks again

Good evening everyone

*Night work Wednesday 21st June*

Hope everything is ok from where you are and we aren't causing too many problems? We have reached a point in the work when we need to do some late work, this is when flow is lightest so it can be managed while we do some extensive replacement work.To keep the system working we need to bring in tankers to take away waste, we will be running 3 tankers up and down the road while the work is going on.

The schedule of work is between 6pm and around midnight, we may even be finished before then. However if there are problems we may have to work a little later, we will try our best not to.

I will be around the works tomorrow and also next week before the work take place if you have any problems please contact me

I really hope this will not inconvenience anyone, again thank you all for your patience with us
