Murton (Berwick) Water Treatment Works Upgrade

As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are planning to extend and improve the existing Water Treatment Works at Murton, near Berwick. It is intended that the new works will be located adjacent to the existing buildings. The main construction work commenced in late 2018 and is due to complete in September 2020.

Good Morning,

Here is this months update:-

Its pretty clear we are starting to move off site now as the project closes. Next week the cabins will be removed and relocated however the team will still be around doing some minor construction activities that will continue into the new year. That said they will take advantage of the festive break and the site will be closed and secured from 22nd December until 4th January.

The team and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Safe and Happy 2021.
