GENERAL PROJECT

New Moors STW Upgrade

Starting in February 2024, as part of a £4.3 million scheme, we will be carrying out essential work to improve the performance of our New Moors wastewater treatment works in Evenwood Gate. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of Hummer Beck, as well as the watercourses downstream.

Update by Jane Cooper

Hello,

Another milestone in the activities taking place at the New Moors site, are the taking of delivery of two dosing kiosks on Tuesday 7th May. These look similar to the picture below.

The kiosks are around the same width as the normal construction traffic that’s currently using the lane (a little wider than a UK caravan) and approximately 4m tall.

The kiosks/their delivery may take a little more time to navigate down the lane but should not cause any inconvenience to residents.
