GENERAL PROJECT

Rookery Gardens, Rushyford

Northumbrian Water, alongside Mott MacDonald Bentley, are working to improve the sewer network in Rushyford, Ferryhill.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good afternoon all,

Ahead of our Christmas shut down today, we have completed permanent highway reinstatement on The Lane and temporary reinstatement into the cul-de-sac, to allow the removal of the temporary traffic light controls and re-establish two-way traffic in and out of Rookery Gardens.

We will be returning to site on Monday 6 January 2020 to complete final reinstatement work within the entrance of Rookery Gardens, a small section of work within the private driveway and finally, removal of our temporary cabins and associated reinstatement.  However, this will not require further traffic management.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been carrying out our work and would like to wish you a peaceful Christmas and New Year.

All the best for 2020

Sarah
