Seahouses Sewage Pumping Station Harbour Road

We are planning to carry out essential maintenance work within the sewer network in this area. Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we will carry out the work between Monday 20 November 2017 and Friday 22 December 2017. This essential work is part of an investment programme of over £2 million and will include the refurbishment of the sewage pumping station in Harbour Road. We are working closely with our supply partner to make sure any disruption is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Hello everyone

The work is progressing well however the kiosk (pictured below) is showing its age, we did think we could refurbish it and carry on but it is not fit for purpose and needs completely replacing. We are going to have to get another one made and this will affect our schedule, in order to minimize disruption we are going to pack up site next week and stay off over Christmas. We will return in the new year to complete the work. We are sorry that this extends our schedule but it needs doing right. I will be on site next week and will be able to update you on when we are doing the next part of the work. Hope you all have a good weekend, try and stay out of the cold!
