GENERAL PROJECT

Sewer Rehabilitation - Pollution

Northumbrian Water are working with our framework partners, Mott-MacDonald Bentley and Esh-Stantec, to deliver the programme of works to prevent pollution on the sewerage network.

Update by Gabrielle Ward

Durham Riverside Footpath

Good Morning,

Just a quick update on the progress of our work so far.

Last week involved setting up our site where the work will be taking place, along with completing the build of the scaffolding. We will use the scaffolding to access manholes safely which are located on the harder to reach places on the embankment side. We also made a start on installing the liner to a section of the pipeline.

This week entails completing more liner installations. I have attached a photo below which shows you what the liner looks like.

I would like to thank you for your continued patience and support during this essential work.

Stay safe everyone!
