Sewer Rehabilitation

Northumbrian Water are working with our framework partners, Mott-MacDonald Bentley and Esh-Stantec, to deliver the programme of works on the sewerage network.

Hi Everyone

We're currently working in Pontop View in Consett. As a result of repeated blockages in the street, Northumbrian Water identified necessary repairs. We (Esh Stantec) have been carrying out these repairs since Monday 24 June 2019 and expect the work to take a total of 3 weeks.

It is anticpated that we will be able to carry out the work without digging but will need to lift the manhole covers in certain gardens to the rear.

There has been and will no impact on roads or footpaths in the area.
