GENERAL PROJECT

Valley Gardens, Consett

Looking after the environment and reducing the risk of pollution are two of our top priorities. As part of this commitment, we plan to invest within the sewerage network to construct 85m of new pipeline within Valley Gardens.

Update by Bethany Oakley

Good morning all,

I hope you’re having a good start to the week.

I thought I’d share an update with you, on the recent progress made by the Site Team.

I am pleased to let you know that the drain run from MH02-MH03 (Manhole 2 & 3) is now complete and you will have noticed that 90% of Cutlers Hall Road has been temporarily reinstated.

The Team have started the drain run MH02-MH01 and are past the main bank of services exposed in Valley Gardens. This is good news and an obstacle that the team have worked hard to have resolved as quickly and safely as possible, to progress with the works.

Whilst we install, back fill and temporarily reinstate the area, this means that we will be blocking people’s driveways however the Team will aim to have this work carried out as soon as possible.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the works on Cutlers Hall Road and Valley Gardens then please don’t hesitate to add a comment in the box below and a member of the Project Team will respond accordingly.

Take care and speak soon,

Bethany
