As part of a £14 million investment, we will be carrying out work to improve the performance and reliability of Washington Sewage Treatment Works. This work will ensure it continues to provide the highest standards of service for the local community.

I hope you're all well and enjoying this lovely weather we are having.

We are currently carrying out removal of spoil from site and wanted to make you aware. Over the next 2-3 weeks, you may notice an increase of traffic coming to and from site while we carry out the spoil removal process. We would like to reassure you that we do aim to keep all disruption to an absolute minimum. If you are travelling near site, we kindly ask you to stay extra vigilant.
