We are investing £500k to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Whittingham. The work will involve an upgrade of the storm water storage provision. This will aid NWL in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

Following on from the weather we have had, the team are currently working on the permanent drainage connections and the manhole construction.
The team are working to schedule and fingers crossed we have better weather.
