GENERAL PROJECT

Kelloe Upgrade

Starting in Autumn 2022, as part of a £6.4 million scheme, we will be carrying out essential work to improve the performance of our wastewater treatment works in Kelloe. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of the Coxhoe Beck, as well as the watercourses downstream. We are yet to confirm an exact date when the works will commence, however this is likely to be early October 2022 to commence ground stabilisation works, however we will confirm this closer to the date.

As mentioned on the last update the team have been working on the optimisation of chemical dosing to the treatment process and on site lab analysis continues to be carried out daily to monitor the quality of the effluent during the chemical dosing optimisation period.

The team are continuing with reinstatement of site access roads alongside general tidying, reinstatement and landscaping works.
