GENERAL PROJECT

Kelloe Upgrade

Starting in 2020, as part of a £2.6 million scheme, we will be carrying out essential work to improve the performance of our wastewater treatment works in Kelloe. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of the Coxhoe Beck, as well as the watercourses downstream. We are yet to confirm an exact date when the works will commence, however once we do we will contact you to ensure you’re kept informed and made aware of any possible disruption.

Project updates

Update by Dean Thompson

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone made the most of Christmas given these challenging times and lets hope for a better 2021.

It's been a couple of months since my last update and we are now finalising our plans. Although our planning drawings are not yet complete, we do have a proposed new site layout, which incorporates the additional land we propose to purchase. Apologies as this drawing does contain a lot of technical detail, however this will be removed from the planning drawings.

Please click on the following to view the drawing.

Proposed New Site Layout

The planning drawings will be posted once they are complete and ready for submission.

At present we are yet to finalise a construction commencement date, however this is likely to be in the Summer, however we will confirm this closer to the date.

We’d really like to hear your views on this essential work and how we can work with you to minimise any disruption you and your community may experience.

If you have any queries or comments or would like to speak to someone from the project team please get in touch using the ‘Contact us’ button at the top of the page. We’d really like to hear from you.
