Following my previous post I just wanted to provide you with an update regarding the planned road closure at the end of Belford Street. 

Our site team are currently working through difficult ground conditions within the current working area between Kilburn Drive and Belford Street. As a result of this the road closure due to start tomorrow will now be pushed back to next week. We anticipate the closure to be in place within the next 7 working days following completion of groundworks within the grassed embankment area. 

If you have any queries or concerns at all, please let us know. I will provide a further update once we have confirmation on when the closure can be expected to be in place.

Good afternoon all, 

Work is currently progressing well within the grassed embankment area between Kilburn Drive and Belford Street. Our site team have constructed 2 new manhole chambers as well as installing the pipework linking them together. Works have also been carried out within the site compound area to install the backdrop pipework within the exisiting shaft.  

Over the next week we will be reducing the embankment and further installing pipework towards Belford Street. 

From Thursday 10 February we will be moving onto Belford Street which will result in a road closure at the end alongside the grass verge. This section of work is expected to take up to 2 weeks to complete.

Just a quick update from site today as our work continues in the same location off Kilburn Drive.

This week our team have continued with the installation of the drainage to the west of Kilburn Drive. Works have been carried out within the shaft to install strengthening beams to intermediate landings.

Next week, the team plan to continue the drainage as above and install pipework within existing shaft in site compound area.

Good afternoon everyone and Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovey time celebrating over the Christmas period. 

Our site team recommenced works earlier this week and are continuing with the pipework installation on Kilburn Drive. The works area will be extended across the rear of the embankment from Kilburn Drive towards Belford Street over the coming few days in order to progress with the installation of pipework. 

Looking ahead into next week this area of work will continue along with operations taking place within the existing shaft to modify the structure in preparation for internal pipework to be installed within the bottom of the shaft.

Good afternoon, 

I just wanted to pop on and let you all know that our site team will suspend working from Thursday 23 December 2021 for the Christmas & New Year Period and will resume works on Tuesday 4 January 2022. During this time the traffic management currently in operation on Kilburn Drive will be removed.

On our return to work our site team will commence working from the area of land between Kilburn Drive and Belford Street, this section of work may impact pedestrian access.

Good morning all, 

Just a very quick update of hows things are going on site. 

We are continuing to progress with the drainage works on Kilburn Drive with one side of the carriageway now back filled and ready to be resurfaced later today. The traffic management will then be switched to the opposite side of the carriageway to enable us to continue with the drainage installation works.

Good morning, 

I just thought I would pop on and provide you all with a quick update on hows things are going on site. 

Last week the site team continued with the installation of shoring and pipework within the carriageway crossing Kilburn Drive. The work on this section is taking longer than originally anticipated therefore the two-way traffic lights will remain in operation at this location until Friday 17th December 2021. Work will continue to progress here over the coming weeks and we will provide further updates in due course.

Just a short update again this week, to let everyone know that the site team are continuing with the excavation and installation of drainage across Kilburn Drive. The team are taking their time, due to the amount of services in the ground, and the depth of which they are working.
