Heworth Burn

Working closely with Gateshead council, we are looking to invest up to £4 million to upgrade our sewers and highway drainage in the Heworth area.

Good Morning,

Just a quick upsate on Heworth Burn Water Separation scheme

- Discharge chamber is progressing well and is 2 concrete pours away from completion

- The gravity sewer has passed the trickiest part of site which exposed us to 4 service crossings in a particularly tight part of site, approximately 100m to go!

I have attached a selection photos for you to view, including one of our Site Manager and Site Engineer at the bottom of our new 14m deep shaft.

Now the drive to completion begins!
