Heworth Burn

Working closely with Gateshead council, we are looking to invest up to £4 million to upgrade our sewers and highway drainage in the Heworth area.

Works are continuing well, as planned. The construction of the 2.4m diameter underground overflow chamber, that will connect into the existing sewer network, has started. These works in the swan carpark by will be complete by mid-December.

Works are still ongoing within Heworth Long stay car park and will continue in the run up to Christmas where we are expecting to be complete by the 20th December.
