Good Morning All,

It's been a while since our last up date so we thought it's about time you were made aware of the progress.

Since Christmas we have made good progress despite the weather. The main structure is now complete and has been fitted out with the pipework, cabling and the media required to run the treatment process. At present the new structure is going through the commissioning stage and shortly the new process will run fully automatically . Around the new structure itself we are completing the reinstatement works, installing footpaths and tying in to the existing levels .

The second stage of our works on site is expected to start this week, however the weather will play a big part in that decison as we plan to start work to construct a New Primary Settlement Tank near the existing inlet works

Please stay safe and warm during this weather and if you want to ask us any questions please feel free.

Hello

Despite the recent weather conditions good progress has been made, the new HSAF Unit is currently been fitted out with an access staircase and walkways by one of our subcontractors and we are busy installing ducting and concrete bases for the new pumps and blowers will sit on. Sadly we have increased the security measures on site as some unsavoury characters believe there are items to steal and have been attempting to break in so I'm going to wish them a Merry Christmas!

From Paul and the team, thank you again for your co-operation and understanding during our work we do appreciate it.

It remains for me to wish the community of Pegswood and in particular the Allotment Association a very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful & Prosperous 2018.

Morning Everyone

A quick update and a few photos.............

Last week proved to be a little difficult, the wind didn't do us any favours so were couldn't use the crane. However Paul and his team have "cracked on" and have just about caught up.

So... the concreting infill to the precast structures are just about complete, after then the water will be tested and then they can commence fitting it all out for future use.

Good Afternoon

This weeks update.................Paul and the guys have now completed the installation of the precast structure which was a job and a half due to the scale of th operation.

The precast structure up to 7m high totalling 500ton were lifted by a 100ton crane into the correct place with precision. The crane towered the site and during the forthcoming weeks the floors and the walls will also be cast.

Paul has sent me some photos

Hi

So this week the team have been preparing and setting out the site for the arrival of the pre-cast concrete structures. The units are being delivered all the way from Ireland and because of the size of them we are splitting the deliveries over the next week and a half. This is some huge operation and they will be escorted from the A1 to site by our team to ensure they are delivered with as little disruption as possible.

You will probably notice the crane which will be used to place the units, it will be over 100ft.

So next week there will be delieveries every day between 8.30 and 3.30pm so please be that little more vigilant in the area.

Sorry for the inconvenice, I know Paul have posted the delivery schedule on his notice board so if you are passing please have a look.

I will hopefully have some photos next week to show you, so please watch this space.

Good Morning to you all,

Clearly the weather on Saturday didn't dampen the event, it was just a lovely day and you did your beautiful village proud. The whole day was so well organised and the fantastic community spirit took me back to my child hood days.........many moons ago I may add.

It would be difficult to chose the best event of the day for me.................but I think the dog show just pipped lots of others to the post!!!!

Thank you for your time and inviting us to your special day and yes "Flo"...........or the "Big Blue Bus" along with the team will be back next year.

We received some great ideas and feedback from you and we will feed them back to our teams.

Don't laugh too hard at Jude and I......our hula hooping skills obviously didn't make the grade.
