GENERAL PROJECT

Stokesley Wastewater Treatment Works Upgrade

Northumbrian Water are investing almost £1 million to improve the performance of our wastewater treatment works in Stokesley alongside our framework partners Esh-Stantec. We plan to begin this scheme in March 2022 and expect it will take up to 3 months to complete. This scheme will help to improve the water quality of the River Leven.

Update by Rachel Rutter

Good Afternoon All,

Our site team are progressing well.

The construction of the concrete retaining structure has been ongoing. The base is now complete and we are moving onto construction of the walls this week and next.

Once the structure is complete we will be looking to backfill around the perimeter before removing the excavation support.

If you have any queries at all regarding our work in your area, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you

Rachel
