GENERAL PROJECT

Stokesley Wastewater Treatment Works Upgrade

Northumbrian Water are investing almost £1 million to improve the performance of our wastewater treatment works in Stokesley alongside our framework partners Esh-Stantec. We plan to begin this scheme in March 2022 and expect it will take up to 3 months to complete. This scheme will help to improve the water quality of the River Leven.

Good afternoon all,

Today the crew have removed the site cabins and have started to downsize the site and grouted the backwash pipe.

Shutters are now in place for final slab pour next week.

Ongoing work continues which includes:

Breaking out slabs for bollard installation
Removing excess materials and waste from site
Grouting Baseplates
Drain and clean sump channel
Change the motor to SF6/30 Mecana filter which is planned for Tuesday 6 September 2022
