GENERAL PROJECT

Blyth - Bates Avenue (Tallie Drive, Blyth)

We are planning work on the sewer network to reduce the risk of flooding and improve the performance of the sewers in Blyth.

Update by Gabrielle Ward

Hello,

Following on from Chris's previous update, I thought I would pop on and introduce myself and let you know what to expect over the next couple of weeks.

My name is Gaby Ward, I am the Customer Liaison Officer for MMB working along side Northumbrian Water's Customer Care Manager, Dave Mortemore. We will be conducting the engagement with our customers and posting regular updates on here.

Starting on Monday 8th November 2021 we will be carrying out some investigatory bore holes in the area. The investigation work will take place around our existing sewerage pumping station, adjacent to Crawford Street in Blyth and could take up to two weeks to complete.

Letters have been delivered to properties adjacent to this area. Please find the letter here which has more information on the work, and includes a plan of the bore hole locations.

In the mean time, please feel free to ask us any questions you may have by leaving a comment below. You can also get in touch via the "contact" link at the top of the page.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Kind Regards,

Gaby
