GENERAL PROJECT

Blyth - Bates Avenue (Tallie Drive, Blyth)

We are planning work on the sewer network to reduce the risk of flooding and improve the performance of the sewers in Blyth.

Update by Gabrielle Ward

Good afternoon,

It's been a while since our last update however, you will have seen our work is continuing to progress along Crawford Street/Bates Avenue. The site team have now laid 61 metres of 600mm pipeline alongside installing the new manhole chambers.

While we carry out the next stage of our work, it is necessary for us to implement a road closure along Bates Avenue from Wednesday 15th November for up to four weeks.

All access will be maintained via Canch Crescent however, should you require any assistance our site team will be happy to help. Please find a plan attached of the planned closure and diversion route.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment below and a member of the project team will get back to you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued patience and support during this time.

Gaby
