Hi, My Name is Peter Greenan and I'm the Northhumbrian Water Project Manager for Throstles Nest Rising Main Project which involves the replacement of an existing sewer pipe.  Our Framework Partners Esh_Stantec (who are responsible for designing and construction the new pipe) have been awarded the Contract and are making plans to progress the work.  You may see some activity in the fields South of Bruce Glasier Terrace in weeks ahead as Esh_Stantec  survey the site and complete ground investigations which will involve excavating small trenches to confirm the ground conditions.  Letters will be sent out to the local community in the near future to inform customers of the planned work and these will be followed by 'face to face' door knocking exercise to the customers'properties we think will be impacted the most.  We do not think that customers will be unduly impacted as the work is planned in private  fields but wanted to make people aware of the planned work as there will be s slight increase in traffic and noise due to deliveris and construction.  I hope this information is useful and if you have any comments then please feel free to post in the comments here
