The planned work comprises of approximately 450 metres of new rising main (pressurised) sewer 500mm diameter pipe from Throstles Nest Pumping Station and reconnecting into the existing main at Swan Castle Farm. The route will be located within in grassed/ stoned areas. The new main will be constructed by excavating a series of opencut trenches to install the new pipe. We would notify you in advance of the work if you will be directly affected.
