Update by Rachel Rutter

Good afternoon all and a Happy New Year!

Prior to the Christmas break the team began the new connection to the Sewerage Treatment Works, which has continued this week.

In the coming weeks the over pumping will be removed from the top pipe, and reinstatements will begin.

Due to weather conditions, ground reinstatements will be completed throughout the year.

Thank you for your time. Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.

Good morning,

As some of you may have seen our team has been working in the area to construct the new pumped combined sewer main.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the crew had a slow start with ecology issues, but began work on Monday 26 June 2023 with excavating and started to lay the new pipe.

The team are on target with the program and will continue to lay new pipe this week.

As always, we will keep disruption to residents to a minimum.
