Wark on Tyne Sewage Treatment Works upgrade

Working with our framework partner, MMB, we are investing £3M to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Wark on Tyne village.

Good afternoon,

Since the last update we have had a few staff changes, I will start by introducing myself my name is Julie Oakley I am a customer liaison officer for JN Bentley and I have taken over from Gaby, I will be conducting the engagement with our customers and posting regular updates going forward!  we also have a new site agent Keith Love who will be overseeing the day to day running of the site, so you might see him out and about, so lets welcome him to the team.

Site Update

The works on site are progressing well. We have almost completed back filling and reinstating the top part of site around the Primary Settlement Tank. We are also in the midst's of getting our next section of over pumping set up to allow us to demolish the existing Humus tank and land the new one next month.  We have had several subcontractors in over the last few weeks to assist us in sections of works including, concrete slab repair work, burning sheet piles, and site electrical and telecom works.
