West Brunton Farm, Newcastle

Together with our supply partner, ESH-MWH, we are investing £2 million to upgrade the sewer network in West Brunton Farm. This essential work will secure the effective operation of the network for the future and will be carried out by ESH-MWH between Monday 10 October 2016 and Sunday 30 April 2017. The work will be carried out within the agricultural land close to West Brunton Farm and public open space to the rear of Wagonway Drive.

Planned works

OUR PROPOSAL IS TO REPLACE THE OLD SEWER IN ITS EXISTING LOCATION BETWEEN WEST BRUNTON FARM AND THE A1. WE WILL INSTALL A LINER TO THE SEWER UNDER THE A1 AND TO THE SEWER TO THE SOUTH WEST OF BRUNTON PARK AS FAR DOWN AS THE FOOTBRIDGE THAT LEADS TO ACOMB CRESCENT.

The sewers will be constructed by excavating a series of trenches to install the new pipe. We will notify you in advance if you will be directly affected by our work.

We’d like to hear from you if you have any feedback about our proposals. Please leave your comments on this update, or get in touch using the ‘Contact us’ button at the top of the page.
