Whitton Village Sewer Diversion

Northumbrian Water is looking to investing £2M to improve the resilience and enhance the performance of the sewer network in Whitton Village Northumberland.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good afternoon all, time for another update ready for MMBs festive shut down which starts on Wednesday 23rd December till 4th January 2021.

Work has continued onsite at the pumping station and will continue when we return in the new year.  Our work for the first 3 weeks of the year will be within our site boundary and then week commencing 25th January we will start to remove cabins from the area and start the reinstatement of the area, which is programmed to take approximately 2 weeks.

We will keep you update of our progress in the new year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been carrying out this essential work and would like to wish you a peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Thanks

Sarah
