WINEP - Kirklevington Transfer

AS PART OF A £5 MILLION SCHEME, WE WILL BE CARRYING OUT ESSENTIAL WORK TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY OF OUR WASTEWATER NETWORK AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS IN THE KIRKLEVINGTON AREA. THE SCHEME WILL HELP TO IMPROVE THE WATER QUALITY OF THE THESE AREAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE AND ENSURE THAT CRITICAL WASTEWATER ASSETS CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY EFFECTIVELY.

Good morning 

As mentioned in previous updates the team are working mainly on site associated with the Carlow tank and drainage within the Sewerage Treatment Works.

The benching has been completed to the Carlow tank, with roof slabs to be lifted on Monday 4th and 5th November.

Slab preparation is underway then the team will pour the roof slab on Friday 8th November and the Carlow to be demobilise after completed.

Drainage work is ongoing within existing Sewerage Treatment Works, with the team excavating by hand.

Installation of the ducts and chambers to supply power/comms to new tank and rising mains are underway.
