WINEP Teesside Transfers

AS PART OF A £11 MILLION SCHEME, WE WILL BE CARRYING OUT ESSENTIAL WORK TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY OF OUR WASTEWATER NETWORK AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS IN THE LONG NEWTON, GOOSBECK AND MIDDLETON AREA. THE SCHEME WILL HELP TO IMPROVE THE WATER QUALITY OF THE THESE AREAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE AND ENSURE THAT CRITICAL WASTEWATER ASSETS CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY EFFECTIVELY.

Good morning,

We now have two teams working on the easement fencing, one working on post and rail and the other post and wire, both work will be complete by Friday 30 August 2024. 

The team continue to work with third party companies to make sure nesting birds are a priority. Vegetation has been cleared at Yarm Road ready for work to begin Monday 2 September 2024.

A top soil strip through farmers land has been completed and the crew have begun to lay pipe in the ground.
