WINEP Teesside Transfers

AS PART OF A £11 MILLION SCHEME, WE WILL BE CARRYING OUT ESSENTIAL WORK TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY OF OUR WASTEWATER NETWORK AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS IN THE LONG NEWTON, GOOSBECK AND MIDDLETON AREA. THE SCHEME WILL HELP TO IMPROVE THE WATER QUALITY OF THE THESE AREAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE AND ENSURE THAT CRITICAL WASTEWATER ASSETS CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY EFFECTIVELY.

You may have seen our team working around Middleton back road installing fencing including post, wire and rail depending on the location, this allows us to keep our working area separate and to maintain a safe distance while we work alongside an archaeologist.

Excavation and installation of the Rising Main works are continuing with directional drilling across Long Newton Lane. Pressure testing will be completed once sections of the work are finalised. Installation of the gravity drainage will continue into the next few weeks.
