Teesside Transfer – Important update on ongoing work in your area

At Northumbrian Water, looking after the environment is one of our top priorities. As part of this commitment, we are working with our supply partner, Esh Stantec to streamline and add flexibility to our sewage treatment provision.

The ongoing Teesside Transfer project will transfer wastewater from Longnewton & Goosebeck Sewage Treatment Works (STW) to Stressholme STW via a new pipeline to Middleton One Row before connecting to existing pipework for transfer to Stressholme STW.

As part of the project, we will be installing a new section of sewer into our existing Middleton One Row facility. For the safety of road users and our site team, a section of the road on The Front / Aislaby Road will be closed for 7 days starting on Monday 11th November. Please follow diversion signs via A67 were appropriate.

Please be assured that we are working closely with our partners to do all that we can to minimise any disruption to you and your community throughout the work. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
