AS PART OF A £11 MILLION SCHEME, WE WILL BE CARRYING OUT ESSENTIAL WORK TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY OF OUR WASTEWATER NETWORK AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS IN THE LONG NEWTON, GOOSBECK AND MIDDLETON AREA. THE SCHEME WILL HELP TO IMPROVE THE WATER QUALITY OF THE THESE AREAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE AND ENSURE THAT CRITICAL WASTEWATER ASSETS CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY EFFECTIVELY.

Installation of the new section of sewer into the existing Middleton One Row facility is complete. The road closure on The Front / Aislaby Road has now been removed and the road reopened. I would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during our essential work.
