Update by Rachel Rutter

Good morning

The team are progressing well, with the rising main works and the completion of new high point discharge chamber. The remaining 225 diameter gravity drainage is also complete leaving just the two connections to the valve slabs.

Work within Goose Beck Sewerage Treatment Works continues with the excavation and installation of the ducting from the new draw pits to new overflow chamber, ready for cabling for the proposed new UMON 2.

The team have installed the Wet Well beams and our contractor Retroflo have completed the Valve slab pipework, supports along with cable works and glanding to the new MCC which is almost complete in readiness for the power supply.

Connection pipework has been installed at Long Newton Sewerage Treatment Works from the new valve slab with pipework to the new valve/vertical pipework on the existing networks to tie in.

Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.

Thank you
