It is intended that the new WTW will be located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The construction is expected to start in spring 2020.

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm guessing by now you will have noticed us (haha), yes we have been setting up and doing some enabling works in preparation of the major work.

Whilst things don't look too exciting at the moment within the next few weeks things will start to change so keep an eye out for developments.

The site cabins have been installed where Gary and his team are now resident, they have started to move onto the ground works, I have posted a few photos for you to have a look.

Just a gentle reminder, this week we will introduce 2way traffic lights from Wednesday so can we install a potable water main so please be that little more vigilant if you are using the B6525 during that time.

We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have so please feel free to drop us a line.
