As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are constructing a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Wooler, Northumberland. The new WTW is located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The main construction phase commenced in summer 2020 and was substantially completed in autumn 2021. Final commissioning to bring the new WTW into service is currently scheduled to run through until autumn 2022.

Good Morning Everyone,
Here are some photos of this weeks progress, the roof is starting to take shape on the Treatment Building and the brickwork is progressing nicely.
The team have poured a 2nd round of concrete into the Waste Water pumping station.
The final leg is about there along the B6525 and we should be finished by Tuesday next week. All the tarmacing has been complete in the industrial estate which is just to pressure test.
