Wooler Water Treatment Works

As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are constructing a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Wooler, Northumberland. The new WTW is located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The main construction phase commenced in summer 2020 and was substantially completed in autumn 2021. Final commissioning to bring the new WTW into service is currently scheduled to run through until autumn 2022.

Hope you all had a great Bank Holiday and are enjoying this lovely weather.

Well, things are starting to progress really well, Gary has sent me some photos for you check out, have a look.

You may have noticed there seems to be less activity within the compound lately this is because now the work is starting to take place within the building, all the testing and techincal tasks are starting which means the outdoor work is just the smartening up of the area. The cabins will be moving soon and we will be relocating them to another site in Northumberland.
