As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are constructing a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Wooler, Northumberland. The new WTW is located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The main construction phase commenced in summer 2020 and was substantially completed in autumn 2021. Final commissioning to bring the new WTW into service is currently scheduled to run through until autumn 2022.

Well, we are near the completion stage of the build phase and the commissioning is ongoing. The site cabins have now been removed and we are getting ready for the new roads around the building to be installed.
The finish line is in sight.
