As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are constructing a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Wooler, Northumberland. The new WTW is located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The main construction phase commenced in summer 2020 and was substantially completed in autumn 2021. Final commissioning to bring the new WTW into service is currently scheduled to run through until autumn 2022.

Yes, well it has been a while since our last update and it probably looks as though all the work is done....not quite!
I would just like to confirm there has and will continue to be a lot of technical work going on to ensure the work is totally complete before we will be fully operational. This work will continue until the Autumn when all being well the commissioning will be concluded.
