GENERAL PROJECT

Castle Eden Dene Sewer

The project will reduce the risk of flooding and pollution in Castle Eden Dene by providing additional capacity in the sewer network in the Sunny Blunts area of Peterlee.

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Afternoon,

Well you will have noticed a lot of activity and movement these last few weeks. The job is about at closure and we are just in the process of demobilising, reinstating and moving materials to get things back to normal.

That said I just wanted to acknowledge to you that some of the reinstatement work south of the cricket club isn't to our standards and we are currently addressing the situation with the subcontractor. This will be resolved in due course, your feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Another one of our sites and the Nature Reserve will be taking advantage of the left over soil so we will be moving that mound in the next few days.......we are  very happy to recycle.

We will drop you a line in the next 2-3wks explaining everything and more importantly thanking you all for your support and understanding during this project.

Thank you once again..
