Afternoon all, i was going to say good afternoon, but looking at the weather forecast for the next couple of days we may be in for some rough weather?

Can i ask everyone to please take care when driving down or up Lartington Lane over the next week or so. As you may be aware we have started work on the East side of the river, however due to some unforeseen circumstances we have stopped work temporarily, but we will be re-starting work in this area tomorrow. There are still places for people to park & walk the dogs or just have a nice walk along the river, just be aware that the Aquaduct is now closed until we complete our works.

Thanks, john.

Morning,

Just a quick update about the closure of the Aquaduct, we have decided to put the footbridge closure back to Monday 19.02.18

We are also constructing a temporary footpath running through the working area as we will be closing the footpath on Lartington Lane while we carry out the pipe installation through the road & footpath it's self.

Again we apologies of any inconvenience and ask for everyone to be patient.

Thanks, john.

Afternoon,

As you may be already aware we are in the process of changing the traffic management on Lartington Lane to allow us to continue with the works on the opposite side of the road.

We will also need to close the footpath to allow us to carry out this work, but we will be installing a temporary footpath from the entrance to the Aquaduct to the bollard protected entrance further along the road.

we will also be closing the Aquaduct footbridge by the end of the week, and there will be a diversion in place and it will be sign posted.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during the works.

Thanks, john.

Good afternoon to all using the portal for information.

Hopefully within the next week, we should be completing works on the east bound side of Lartington Lane, and be moving the traffic management to the West bound carriageway to allow us to continue the works. As these works include the installation of the overland rider, we will be looking to close the Aquaduct footbridge week commencing 12th February 2018. It may not be on the Monday that we close the Aquaduct, but the diversion route will be in place & sign posted.

I will apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the Aquaduct, but it is necessary to enable us to complete the works and keep everyone safe.

Thanks, john.

Afternoon Everyone,

As you can see we have returned to work this week to continue with the water main upgrade. I apologies for any inconvenience during the installation of the Traffic Lights, but it all appears to be running well now.

As my collegue has already stated the Aquaduct will remain open for a few more weeks, we will let everyone know closer to the time as to when the Aquaduct will be closed to allow us to carry on with the works.

Thanks, John.

Afternoon,

It may not look as if we are progressing a great deal with the works on Lartlington Lane, However we are progressing well with the new pipe work in the verge area, and will be continuing with the works into the carriageway within the two-way lights. Too keep everyone up to date we will be removing the two-way lights on Thursday 21st December 2017 for the Christmas holidays. The lights will be put back in place on Tuesday 9th January 2018 to allow us to complete the works in the carriageway.

We have started the excavation works within the field adjacent to Lartington Lane opposite the works in the verge.

Following the resent change in the weather (getting colder) i would ask that everyone take extra care when approaching the road works.

I would again ask for your patient and understanding during this time.

Thanks, john.
