Update by Nick Warner

Hello

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our team and project.

I’m Nick Warner, Customer Care Manager, at Northumbrian Water. Our Project Manager, Richard Greenwell, and I will be looking after this scheme through to its completion. The scheme will be delivered by Northumbrian Water’s delivery partner Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB).

Starting on 27 September 2021, we will be carrying out construction work to construct a new pumping station at the eastern end of Heads Hope Dene together with new sewers to divert flows around the wooded area. We will also be constructing a new sewer from the Heath View area to the new pumping station, which will ensure that all flows are removed from the old sewer.

Although our work is remote from the village, you are likely to see an increase in traffic along Station Road as our work progresses. However, please be assured that Station Road will remain open throughout.

As the project progresses, our team will keep you informed about our work and will be sharing information about our progress with you on this portal.

We will post regular updates throughout the project and if you have any questions or want to make us aware of any additional support you require from us, then please use the ‘Contact us’ button at the top of this page or post on this feed.

If you’d prefer a telephone conversation or require any further information or advice, please get in touch with our Customer Centre on 0345 717 1100 or visit www.nwl.co.uk to request a call back from the project team.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.

Kind regards

Nick Warner
