This project is to reduce the risk of pollution to Head Hope Dene. A range of solutions are being investigated to reduce the risk of pollution caused by flooding from the sewer due to blockages, and land slip. Construction is programmed for 2021/22.
We are currently coming towards the project investigation stage of the project where we are looking at what options there are available to us to address the issues in Heads hope Dene. We will shortly be entering the project definition stage recommending a preferred option as a solution and seeking customer views on our proposals.
As part of this process we will also look at a series of investigations such ground information and underground services to assess the risks and viability of the proposals.
It is envisaged that we should be in a position to recommend a final solution to go to design and construct in mid summer, construction around the end of summer.
