Update by Gabrielle Ward

As a thank you to the local community, we have been liaising with Wingate Parish Council to find ways to show our appreciation to the community for their continued patience and support during our essential work. Graeme Reed (Parish Council Clerk), Scott Williams (Parish Chairman) and Lee Mason (Park Keeper) mentioned the local park was in need of some new picnic benches and bins.

Northumbrian Water and Mott MacDonald Bentley have donated and installed two new picnic benches and two new bins to Wingate Welfare Park. After visiting the park a number of times, you can see that this park is well used and loved by the local community, and we really hope that the everyone visiting the park will enjoy their new additions.

I have included some photos below.

Thanks.

Gaby
