We are investing £500,000 on essential maintenance work to our Sewerage Network.
LOOKING AFTER THE ENVIRONMENT AND REDUCING THE RISK OF FLOODING TO HOMES AND BUSINESSES ARE TWO OF OUR TOP PRIORITIES.
As part of this commitment, and to help make County Durham a great place to live, work and visit, we plan to invest within the sewerage network to upgrade our existing assets.
We are working towards commencing our maintenance work in January 2018 and anticipate it will take up to five months to complete. This work will ensure the sewer network in the Renny’s Lane, Belmont area continues to serve the local community and protect the environment for future generations. Our partner, MMB (Mott MacDonald Bentley) would be carrying out this work on our behalf.
