HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Just a quick reminder that we will be returning on Monday 6 January 2020 to start the final stage of our works.  On Monday morning our team will be returning and will continue to work along Wheatlands, north of Roseberry Drive.  All properties who will be impacted by our works were contacted prior to Christmas.

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2020.  We would also like to thank you all for your patience and understanding whilst we have carried out our works, thank you for being amazing!

As you can see by the picture my team are in the festive mood.  Both Tony and Becky are taking time off to be with their loved ones over Christmas along with the site teams, but wanted to show off their Christmas jumpers.

As you will have noticed we have now left for Christmas!

We have opened up the roads and carried out temporary reinstatments.  However as you all know we will be back in the New Year, we will be on site from the 6 January 2019.

I will be contacting all the customers impacted by our next stage of work over the next two weeks.  Although we have left site, I am working over the Christmas period if anyone has any concerns.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020.

Just before we finish for the weekend I wanted to thank you once again to all the cake bakers on the estate.

Our site team are enjoying the VIP treatment.  Every now and again they let me have a cake, if I am on my best behavior :-)

The cakes are fantastic, thank you once again for looking after our team (and me occassionally).

Good afternoon,

Yesterday my team and I, came to site and hand delivered letters providing an update regarding our works. It was lovely to catch up with some of you and hear some feedback. The letter notifies residents that we will be back after the Christmas holidays, and will continue to work up until the end of April.  

As residents will have noticed we are still working on Wheatlands, near to the junction of Roseberry Drive.  Our other crew are currently working at the junction of Rosberry Road to Wheatlands, this work should be completed by early next week, slightly ahead of schedule.

With Christmas fast approaching and the VIP visit from Santa on the 23 December, we want to assure our customers that we will be temporarily leaving site from the 20 December to 6 January 2020.  Before we leave site for the festive season, all fencing will be removed and roads temporarily reinstated, ensuring all the roads are re-opened during this time. 

Before we return on the 6 January 2020, I will be contacting those customers who will be impacted upon our return.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone for thier patience and understanding whilst we carry out our work.  As always please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss our works further.

As of Tuesday next week we will be moving a little further up Wheatlands.  We have been contacting the customers who will be impacted by our works, each customer will be contacted by letter if they are impacted.

It seems the winter has now crept in with the frosty, cold mornings.

As you will have noticed we are now working in Roseberry Road at the junction of Wheatlands.  We moved last week and hope to have this section completed in the next 5 weeks.

Today we will be reinstating the section of road we completed in Roseberry Avenue last week.  This section of work should be completed by 5pm tomorrow.

I am on site this morning if anyone would like to catch up.

Following our update yesterday, our team have been out delivering letters and speaking to residents.  As we are completing our works in Roseberry Avenue, the site team will be moving to Roseberry Road.

This will mean that Roseberry Road at the junction of Wheatlands will be closed whilst we carry out this section.  We envisage this will take 5 weeks to complete.

We have diversion signs in place whilst we carry out this work.

Just a quick update.  

On the 15 October we notified residents of Roseberry Avenue that we were closing a section of the road for a period of 5 weeks from the 21 October.

Earlier this morning we have notified the residents that the work will be completed this Friday, 3 weeks earlier than expected!

Which is fantastic news for the residents.  We have advised that we will return in due course to carry out the reinstatemnt of the road, which will mean a short closure of a day or two in future.

Our team will keep you updated once we have dates in the diary.

We have little to report for this week, as our work is progressing as planned in both Wheatlands and Roseberry Crescent.

Although we would like to thank the resident in Roseberry Crescent for the cakes, the lads said they were lovely.  However they did not save me one for today :-(

Next week we say 'goodbye' to our site agent, Darren Whale, as he goes off to start a new life in Oz.  Good luck Darren, you will be a huge miss to us all.
