The Stanners Warkworth

Northumbrian Water is looking to investing £700,000 to improve the resilience and enhance the performance of the sewer network in Warkworth Village Northumberland.

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Morning Everyone,

I've just been talking to Steve and he has just given me a brief update....

The pipe installation along the river path is progressing well and deciding to work last Saturday was a good move as it has pushed the programme along, hopefully it wasn't too much of an inconvenience to you all. Having to conduct the sheet piling in such a confined space is certainly proving to be a challenge. (have a look at the photos) Once complete we can start the backfill to dress the path.

We will be in touch with you next week.

Hope the wind drops, Steve says it's blowing a hooley there today! Take care
