Our water mains cleaning programme of works has been ongoing now for five years and to date, we have achieved 221km of cleaning works to our mains. There are a number of pipe sections that we still need to clean, with a total length of 9.0km. We are starting this work in August 2018 and anticipate completion in the Apri 2021.

There are a number of pipe sections that we still need to clean, with a total length of 12.0km. We are starting this work in August 2018 and anticipate completion in the Summer 2019.
There are 18 site locations within the Tyneside area that we will be working in. Work will be undertaken by two of our Framework Partners:
Batch 1 - Fastflow FPS (6 site locations starting August 2018, for 10 months)
Batch 2 - Mott Macdonald Bentley - MMB (12 site locations starting October 2018, for 10 months).
Then a last Site Location for Fastflow on the West Road, Newcastle (Completion Planned April 2021)
