Update by Brian Hall

Good morning everyone

As you can probably tell by now we have finished all work at the site, pumping station has been refurbished, roof repaired and reinstatement work all complete. I hope you are pleased with the result. Hello everyone

Just a quick update, there has been some feedback on the heras fencing being left in place. While we realise that it doesn't look great we kept it in position to restrict access while the grass seed took. Unfortunately the established grass has sprouted wildly away because of the wet weather and the council have cut around the perimeter so it does look a bit of an eyesore, sorry about this. We will be up on Wednesday 12th July to tidy up. Thank you for bearing with us

Have a great weekend

Roof update

I hope you are all happy with the roof repairs?

As I mentioned earlier the state of the roofing tiles was not on our original specification but residents let us know that they were not happy with the appearance of the place. Apart from the broken roof tiles and poor state of the roof, rubbish was blowing into the compound getting stuck and staying there forever. Now we have the roof repaired and the new open design to the site allowing full access to grass cutters and litter picking. The job is nearly finished and we will be removing the harres fencing soon and finishing off. When we have finished there will be a letter going round to everyone and I will be calling on the nearest houses asking for some feedback

Hello everyone

Well the pumping station is all but completed, we kept the harres fencing in place to allow the grass to get established. Next week our roofers will be on site on Monday to put a new roof on and we will clear from the site. I will be around next week delivering closure letters and looking for feedback from the residents on how we have done, hopefully the rain will have stopped by then!

all the best

Hello everyone

Hopefully you will all have noticed the work happening this week, reinstatement is going well; the new handrails are in place, old kiosk removed

Good morning
I was on the estate yesterday evening chatting to customers about their concerns about the appearance of the site. The update is that the team will be back on Monday morning to start reinstatement work. There will be some testing of the communications on Tuesday, this is important as the pump units have to be monitored by NWL's control room to ensure they are working properly. Then more reinstatement work if needed on Wednesday. Again thanks everyone for bearing with us, hope you all have a great weekend

Good morning everyone

Well the good news is the work is done and the new pump is delivering a more effective service to the area, unfortunately we have been delayed in carrying out the reinstatement work to the station so it looks a bit of a mess. We were hoping we would have finished off by now but a couple of technical issues have knocked us back.

We will be on site on Monday 22nd May to finish off and carry out the necessary reinstatment work, we should be finished off by the end of the day on Wednesday 24th.

I will keep you updated on the work and any issues we have.

Again thank you all for your patience while we get everything done.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a nice easter break

The work at site has largely been completed, BT have moved the cables and we have finished all the construction and pipework. We will be returning next week to sort out the kiosk and do carry out reinstatement work to leave the place looking nice and tidy. This wont cause much disturbance and the traffic controls wont be used again. Thank you all again for you patience.

Good morning everyone

Work has progressed well this week we have laid the concrete for the base and finished a small retaining wall. Once BT have moved some cables

we will be able to move the kiosk on. Thank you all for your patience with the traffic controls, the good news is they will be lifted by the end of this week

all  being well and traffic will be back to normal, we will then be concentrating on reinstatement with tidying up, grass seeding etc.

Whatever you are doing over the next week I hope you all have a lovely easter.
