Good afternoon!

Since our last update in April, the team have been progressing with installing the new pipeline! In total, 484m of pipeline has been installed.

We are currently carrying out the construction of the pipeline in the Rockwill development. So far, just in this area alone 596m of pipe has been welded together in preparation for the drilling works to commence when we return from the Bank Holiday.

Paul and I had the priviledge of meeting some of you at the start of the month when we came to discuss our working area set up in the grassed area of Lartington Way.
You will start to notice the team setting up the working area from next week where we will be erecting the new heras fencing, laying stone and setting up the mobile all in one unit ready for the drilling works to commence in the next month or so. I have included the working area set up for Lartington Way here.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment below and a member of the project team will get back to you.

Have a lovely weekend!

Good afternoon,

Work is now complete in the Rugby Pitch along Aislaby Road for the time being. As mentioned in my last update, we will be returning to this area for the final connection towards the end of the job. Once this has been complete, all reinstatements will be carried out.

In the site compound field, excess spoil has been removed from the area adjacent to Nelly Burdon's Beck towards the housing development.

We have now moved further up the pipeline, and have commenced with setting up our working area in the Rockwill Housing Development. The team are now constructing access roads through the development to our working area to allow drilling works to commence the second week in May. The topsoil has been stripped ready for the easement and we'll be setting up an all in one unit.

I have included some photos for you to view.

As always, please feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions.

Speak soon.

Good Morning,

Thank you to those of you who attended our second customer event on 1st March. It was lovely to meet you and discuss our work with you!

Since our last update, we have connected the pipeline from the rugby pitch with the pipeline in the site compound field. 484m of pipeline has successfully been laid, welded and pressure tested.

We will be looking to reinstate the farmers field and the rugby pitch in the upcoming weeks. Just a reminder that we will be returning to the rugby pitch to carry out the tie ins at the end of the job.

As always, if you have any questions, please get in touch.

Good afternoon,

First of all I'd like to welcome our new Site Agent, Paul Coates, to the team! I'd also like to take this opportunity to introduce Damien Woods, our Contract Manager who is managing the project and our Site Engineer, Dave Cross, who is working alongside Paul on site.

You may have noticed our drilling compound located in the rugby pitch across the road from out site compound. The team have carried out this phase of pipe work successfully using directional drilling underneath Aislaby Road and Nelly Burdons Beck. We will be looking to connect the pipeline we have already laid in the site compound field, to the new section of pipeline coming from the rugby pitch in the upcoming weeks.

We recentley sent out a letter in the post inviting you to our second customer event (you can view this letter here). The customer event will be taking place at The Eagle Inn, Eaglescliffe, TS16 0NA on Wednesday 1st March from 3pm until 6pm. We'd love for you to come down, meet some of the team and discuss any questions you may have.

Please leave a comment below if you have any questions, and we look forward to meeting some of you at the customer event next week!

Speak soon.

Hello, and Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

The site team are back at work and carrying on from where they left off. Since returning, 110 metres of pipe has been laid in the field the site compound is situated in. In the next few weeks, work will commence across Aislaby Road, and into the rugby field. We will be directional drilling under Aislaby Road and Nelly Burdons Beck to install this section of pipeline. Once this has been installed, we will be returning to this area later on in the year to connect the new pipe to the existing main.

I will be posting another update in the next few weeks, so keep a look out!

Speak soon.

From Friday 16th December, the site will be closed for Christmas break and will re-open on Tuesday 3rd January.

On behalf of the Project Team, we hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Good afternoon,

Just following on from our recent letter that has been sent out in the post, I wanted to post a quick update of what to expect over the upcoming weeks.

From Monday 7th November, we will be starting to set up our site compound which is going to be situated along Aislaby Road. I have attached a map which gives you an idea of where the site compound location will be. Please be aware that during the next few weeks, we are expecting a higher volume of deliveries than usual which will access our compound area via Aislaby Road while we get set up. During this time, we would like to kindly ask you to stay safe by keeping extra vigilant when using this stretch of road. For the first few weeks, our team will be based out of an all-in-one unit until the site cabins are delivered.

The first stages of our construction work will be taking place around the Aislaby Road area however, I will be posting regular updates with more information on our planned work and deliveries.

I have attached a copy of the letter here.

Thanks.

Gaby
