Good afternoon, I'm pleased to be able to confirm that we've substantially completed our sewage treatment works refurbishment at Embleton STW. The upgrade work included the construction of the following to improve the level of treatment on site and provide additional capacity for future growth within the catchment::

• new screened inlet Combined Sewage Overflow (CSO);
• new inlet works including screening and flow control / recording
• conversion of existing tanks to provide settled storm treatment;
• new tertiary treatment plant;
• mechanical and electrical refurbishment including a new MMC panel and kiosk.

While we have completed all construction work and commissioned the new treatment processes, there are a small number of outstanding electrical modifications we will need to return to site to complete in the coming months.

I hope you're all well and enjoyed your Jubilee celebrations last weekend!

Just a quick update and some progress photos from our work on site. 

- The overpumping and installation of the Haigh inlet screen is now complete. The Haigh inlet screen controls flows and screens solids that are contained within the flows. 

- Landscaping around the Sewage Treatment Works are ongoing, with some areas now complete. 

- The pumps are now installed at the pumping station.

- The Motor Control Centre (MCC) Panel installation is complete.

- The NSAF Blowers have been secured to the concrete plinths.

Hello,

Work has continued to progress well on site over the last few weeks. 

The old site compound area is starting to look very different, with the stone being stripped down to subgrade ready for the topsoil and seeding. I've added a 'before and after' comparison photo below.

The Motor Control Center panels have been installed, with the electrical cables currently ongoing.

Pipework to the storm tank is now complete, while the electrical work is underway. 

I'll be posting more updates in the upcoming weeks.

Just following on from Kevin's previous update, I thought I would pop on and say hello. I also wanted to let you know there has been a couple of changes on site recentley. 

Firstly, I would like to introduce you to our new Site Agent, Keith Love. He will be taking over from Kevin and managing the day to day operations on site going forward. 

You may have noticed our main site cabins have now been removed from what was the site compound as we start to de-mobilise, and the site team are now using a temporary all in one set up.

Kevin will be posting his final update for the project in the upcoming days, so keep a look out!

Good Evening

I hope everyone is enjoying the Easter weather, it certainly has turned for the better lately and with that we have been able to make good progress on site as follows:-

• Works to the new skip handling area is very much complete of hardstandings and topsoil works ongoing with crash barriers, handrails etc due to be installed imminently
• The fenced boundary is reinstated and now closed off
• We have also progressed to reinstate soils over the main field area and will be endeavouring to get this seeded over the next few weeks to establish growth through the summer.
• Electric cabling & drainage infrastructure installation is ongoing with the new electrical panels due to be delivered 25th April 2022 for the MCC Building
• Footpaths, staircase and mowing strips ongoing to all areas. 

Works will be ongoing to a target completion of Civil Engineering works by the end of May with process commissioning in June, we will also be demobilising our existing site set up that we have occupied in the farmers land adjacent the works and will be using a more compact "all in one" set up within the works so please be aware of a number of wagons removing the cabins next Monday 25th April 2022 for the 1 to 2 day's.

Good afternoon, I hope you have been enjoying the warm weather of late.

I thought i wouldd give everyone a general update for the works here at Embleton for what we have been carrying out lately.

• We have now started the electrical installation works on site and will be carrying this element of work out for the next 6 weeks.
• The NSAF tank at the bottom of the site is now complete and filled with media, this is where the biological element of the treatment process will be done using natural process.
• Concrete hardstandings to the new skip handling area are under construction and should be completed next week.
• Footpaths and mowing strips around manhole & duct chambers are nearing completion
• General landscape grading is being carried out whilst we have dry weather in preparation of topsoil & seeding works, we have started some areas already.

Good Afternoon,

I hope you're all well.

I just thought I'd let you know how work has been progressing on site since Kevins last update. We are now reaching the final stages of our civils construction work which we aim to complete by the end of May. This will then enable us to carry out the testing stages thereafter, to ensure everything on site is running smoothly. Through the course of April we will be scaling our site establishment back in parallel with the site requirements.

Good Afternoon.

Thought id give everyone a general update of where we are at progress wise on site.

1. Main drainage is now completed into the works and we have turned flows through the new Combined sewer overflow structure, this has allowed us to abandon and subsequently demolish the existing Sewage Pumping Station, the new overflow screens are also fitted within the "CSO"

2. The last of the Concrete slabs has been cast to the Tertiary treatment area, our subcontrcator is now on site carrying out the installation of the new tank.

3. Drainage works to the tertiary area are also completed.

Ongoing works are installing the new water and storm return pumping mains and constructing the new skip handling area.

Good afternoon, i hope everyone are well.

Just thought id give you an update to the site activities, we are currently progressing with the works to turn flows next week through our new CSO (combined Sewer overflow) chamber and have today been installing the screens, this allows us to abandon the current site pumping station and thereafter progress with the external works for the new skip handling area.

Elsewhere on the site we are continuing drainage and duct installation in preparation for the last floor slab to the teriary area.

I have attached a couple of pictures for interest.

Good Morning, i hope everyone is well, we have certainly had some kind weather since the turn of the year which has allowed some good progress on site.

To follow up on Gabrielles post recently and the historical photos that we have regular posted i thought id give you some perspective of how the site looked at the start to its current status.

Photo 1 shows the New inlet works & skip handling area

Photo 2 shows the storm tank, site pumping station and tertiary area.

As you can see that site has some significant change since we commenced last June and we can finally start to realise the works to completion in June this year.
