We are investing £2.2 million to improve the water supply in the west end of Newcastle.
THIS PROJECT INVOLVES CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE AND CHANGING THE SHAPE OF ONE OF OUR RESERVOIR TANKS IN FENHAM. ONCE THE WORK IS COMPLETE WE WILL RE-LANDSCAPE THE AREA.
Our temporary site compound will be built within our reservoir site for the duration of the work. Due to the location of the site, our access route for construction traffic will be along Two Ball Lonnen, Cedar Road and Linden Avenue. A temporary haul road will be in place across the playing field to the rear of Acanthus Avenue while we work here. If you are going to be directly affected by this, our site team will contact you in advance of the work with further information.

This project will involve demolition and construction work in order to upgrade the reservoir tank and, as a result, we expect there to be increased levels of noise in the local area during January and February 2017. We will keep you updated closer to the time of this work about expected timescales.
